KITEC®, PEX-AL-PEX, or Multicore for Crimp or Compression: Follow pipe manufactuer's instructions.
NPT THREAD: Clean pipe threads and cover them with pipe dope or PTFE tape. Tighten firmly while gripping hex on end of valve. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
